Kennywood Park Beer Garden Update

Spent my day yesterday at Kennywood Park. Before I went home, I made sure of one thing and that was to check out this planned beer garden the park wanted to put in place for the 2012 operating season.

The park put in what's now called the Backyard BBQ, where you can purchase European style items such as bratwurst and kielbasa. You can also get American style items such as corn on the cob and BBQ ribs. Food combos also include a side of potato salad.

 The area beside the lagoon is fenced off and picnic tables are set up. The only thing that's missing is the beer. Not getting into the political and public relations aspects of this, but I'll say that I'm very excited to see what type of beers will be served once everything is finalized.
