I'm No Bob Ross

A good while ago I had a post about a certain company in Switzerland selling swatches of paint that were the dame colors as some beers. Well, I recently checked to see if the movement had made its way over to the United States. Let's just say it wasn't my lucky day.

If you need a perfect graphic for some advertisement, I'm not your man. I've dabbled in Photoshop. I've even dabbled in making my own beer swatches. Before I made the switch to a black background, the color I used was from a Southern Tier Pumking Swatch I had kept.

For me, it's as simple as bringing up a photograph of a beer and using the color picker. Keep in mind that lighting and backgrounds might influence the final color. Still, I've compiled a few beer colors as prime examples of how simple it can be to employ the colors of some of your favorite brews. I've included the closest Pantone color in case you wanted to use any of these in a web safe fashion. These are better in cases that require web use and printing.
