This is the Business We've Chosen

When I made a mental pact with myself to frequent the gym at least once a week a year and a half ago, I also decided to cut out a few other things in my diet. Those two things being mainly pop (aka soda if you're outside of the Pittsburgh area) and snacks for the most part.

I'll snag a couple cookies after lunch or dinner once in a while, but when it comes to stuff like ice cream, chips and tons of candy I rarely partake anymore. I've been known to dabble with a scoop or two every few months, though. Still, I find it interesting to learn that Yuengling from here in Pennsylvania used to be affiliated with an ice cream company that was derived in order to offset prohibition losses. Very intriguing. Apparently the ice cream line is making a come back, but won't be affiliated with Yuengling this time around as the brewery so notated on its Facebook Page.
I'm probably not going to ever get this brand of ice cream as I hardly ever eat any of it nowadays, but I mostly found the fact that the brewery previously got involved in the dairy business fascinating.

My dad once said that it was amazing that everything I disdained growing up he liked (i.e. beer, coffee etc.). Now, I enjoy both. Just add water and you have the only things I ever drink. I remember trying coffee ice cream years ago and struggling to finish just a few dollops of it. If I ever come across ice cream with beer in it in some form I'll have trouble not wanting to at least try it.
